Rachel Ellis
Rachel Ellis has won the non acquisitive Central West Regional Artists Award. The prize was open to artists living in the Central West of NSW. She is scheduled to have a solo show at the Cowra Regional Gallery 30 September 2011.Recent Acquisitions
Stanthorpe Regional Gallery has acquired Shona Wilson ‘Diatom 15’ mixed media 2009 for their permanent collection.
Bathurst Regional Art Gallery has acquired 4 works by Amanda Penrose Hart for their permanant collection one of them being ‘Cherries’ oil on canvas 60x60cm 2009
The Gold Coast City Art Gallery have acquired 6 works by Peter O’Doherty for their permanant collection, all acrylic on canvas 30x30cm 2009.
En Plein Air Prize 2010
Congratulations to John Bokor, Rachel Ellis, Joanna Logue, James Jones and Amanda Penrose Hart who have all been selected for the En Plein Air Prize at the NSW Parliament House. The winner will be announced 11 May 2010. The prize is sponsored by Allens Arthur Robinson.
